Our older girl turns 6!

Not liking this whole "link to Google!" thing. Kind of liked not having my FULL NAME on this blog. Thanks, Google, for taking the anonymity out of the whole thing...which is the main thing I liked about it. :/

I spent a little time today looking back over the entirety of this blog and remembering a few good things (and a few bad) that have happened to me over the past 7 years or so. I should probably post more - it seems like this was a good outlet that I forgot about long ago.

It's funny... There are some things I posted about that bothered me SO MUCH at the time, and some of those things were about people I haven't seen or thought about in years (I don't even remember who "Twig" - from my very early posts - was). It's a good lesson in the transitory nature of things like that, and I learned some time ago to no longer sweat that small stuff. It's good to know that lesson is spot on.

I also saw that I need to post a message to our second little one, as I never got around to doing it before. She's almost three, now, and deserves one (especially since I did one for Aislinn, and don't want to leave Dani out). So I'll be back to do that one evening when I can concentrate on it and feel like being all misty and sappy and emotional. :)

I'll try to talk Thom into coming back and contributing to this, but I'm not sure I'll have much luck with that. Which will be a shame...I liked reading his posts.

Our littlest one is two!

Happy 2nd birthday, baby Dani! It's hard to believe it's been two years already. We love you!

Happy 5th birthday!

Wow. Five years already! Watching you grow up so fast is bittersweet. I can't wait to see who you become, but I also miss who you were.

Four years old. How time flies. I'm so proud of you, honey. Happy birthday! I love you!!!

We're home!

Danaerys Leigh was born on Friday, December 18th at 5:43 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and was 19 inches long. She's completely healthy, despite several issues/surprises during my pregnancy, and is now home and doing great. :)

And for any that are wondering, I'm doing fine too. :)
